What is a Stock Pot?
Any aspiring cook needs to have a kitchen complete with a high-quality stock pot. Stock pots are usually used to make stock or broth, which can be the basis for cooking other recipes. They can also be used for making soups, cooking pasta or boiling potatoes.
For recipes that require a large volume of liquid and ingredients, or if you’re cooking for a large group, the stockpot should be your go-to vessel.
Traditionally, stock pots will have a flat bottom design, straight sides, two side handles, and come with a lid. A stock pot that features a well-fitting lid will reduce cooking time.
