Evolve Your Style at Kohl's Secaucus
Tucked between an inlet of the Hackensack River, Route 3 and the Eastern Spur of the New Jersey Turnpike, the Kohl's in Secaucus has the geography to match the ever-evolving eponymous city it calls home.
Originally swampland, Secaucus has undergone multiple changes over the years to grow alongside the Hudson County populace. At the turn of the 20th century it was an agricultural hub, first specializing in flowers and then pig farms. When the N.J. turnpike arrived in 1951, it became a freight hub and center for industrial distribution. The warehouses made Secaucus one of the first places in the U.S. to embrace factory outlet shopping, an alternative to the glitzy expense of shopping in nearby Manhattan.
In addition to Kohl's, Secaucus has also been home to the headquarters of the NBA, famed Times Square performer The Naked Cowboy, who doesn't actually perform in the nude, and the Ty-D-Bol Man and "Caddyshack" actor, Dan Resin.
Secaucus' name is a portmanteau of the indigenous words for black & snake. Even though Kohl's Secaucus is in the shadow of the Mill Creek Marsh Trail, there's nothing slithering that will bother you while you shop. So if you're looking to evolve your style, come check us out. Kohl's Secaucus is also convenient from nearby Union City, North Bergen and North Hoboken.
